We’re on a mission…
SlideXchange is part of the broader Semlr platform and company. At Semlr, we’re on a mission to liberate content from content containers; to unlock knowledge and the expression of ideas from the files in which they are created. We want to emancipate content, enable it to be fungible, reusable, traceable and open to AI. We want to eliminate the time wasted on re-creating content, just because it cannot be found or is held in an incompatible format. We want to enable content creators to focus on those areas where they have something unique to say, and to empower readers to directly control the content that they consume. We want to bring intelligence to content, and use knowledge about knowledge to fuel new ways of communicating, sharing and learning.

Milestones
2025
Launched slideXchange, a FREE webapp providing an easy, effective way to securely share a deck online instead of sending an attachment. slideXchange, a standalone app, is supported by the Semlr platform.
2021
Started supporting Investor Relations use cases with Semlr Studio. Delivered costs savings and reduced manual errors by automating slide updates across multiple decks.
2019
Entry into the retail industry supporting Communication use cases. Semlr Studio improved time-to-market and enabled tracking and analytics of shared content to gain business insight.
2017
Semlr Studio supported global technology Training and onboarding programs at global investment banks and hedge funds. Content reuse and assembly made it easy to deliver customized learning paths.
2016
Semlr Studio was spun out of Mallon Associates, and was released as an enterprise content management platform. Semlr takes a whole new approach to enterprise collaboration in which content is king, moving away from files (which tend to limit the accessibility and granularity of reuse), and away from hierarchical file systems (which limit the way content may be organized). Separated from such traditional containers, Semlr's liberated content is far more malleable, reusable and amenable to intelligent processing.
Product Architecture
Products can be used as standalone apps or as an integrated suite.
